Just a few things that Quinn has started saying now: She is still a little parrot and repeats anything we say. Lately she has been saying "Honey" and will repeat it over and over while she's playing or eating. It is so funny! She also loves to pick up my cell phone and say "Hello, hello, Elmo?". She is using the word and sign for "help" now, which we tried to teach her to replace a really annoying whine she developed when she couldn't do anything she needed help with.
She says~
Juice sounds like shoosh
Cracker sounds like caca (funny, I know!)
Ham
Pancake sounds like pacake
Car sounds like caa
Truck sounds like chuck
Shoes
Bus
On the eating front, she is still eating like a champ. She eats pretty much whatever we fix for dinner. Some of her favorite meals are lasagna, chicken parmesean, chicken quesadillas, and of course the standard kid favorites: grilled cheese, macaroni and cheese etc... She is still not a big lover of milk so for now we're giving her lots of yogurt and cheese to make up the healthy fat she is missing in the milk.
We are also very blessed that she is a fan of sleep! She goes to bed at about 7 pm and wakes in the morning between 7 and 7:30 am. She takes a nap at 9 am and another at 1 pm. I think we'll be phasing out that morning nap in the next couple of months but we're in no hurry. She seems happy with the way things are now, so why change it?
And on the walking. Still not walking! I know that she can since she can do a full on run with her stroller. This will happen eventually, and again we're not pushing it or worried about it.
Quinn is such a little peanut. Literally. She barely weighs 20 lbs. and is in the 25th percentile in that area. 40th percentile in height. She countinues to grow normally, just a little bit smaller than other kids her age. Guess she'll be taking after her Momma. My parents used to call me "Little Pinon" since I was so little as well. (BTW a pinon is a nut found on pine trees)
Here are some pics of Q in action lately:

Our kids are so typical! Mine can walk but not talk, and yours can talk but not walk! I bet we will post at the exact same time: First Steps!, and First Words!! Its funny how they concentrate on one thing at a time.
