6 Months

So I am now six months along, only about 84 days left (that is if Quinn decides she wants to arrive on her due date). The pregnancy has gone pretty well so far and I'm still feeling pretty good. Quinn is now around 15 inches long and weighs a little over 2 pounds. The biggest thing that I'm getting used to having to deal with now is the size and sometimes discomfort of having a basketball sized belly. Since she is getting bigger and stronger now, her movements are much more obvious to me and anyone who happens to be looking at my belly. The other night she was kicking so hard that I was sure her foot was going to kick straight through my belly button!

Quinn's Crib

Quinn's crib arrived Friday evening, we wasted no time and put it together that night! We're waiting on her dresser/changing table and glider chair. Little by little we are getting this room ready for our special arrival, we cannot wait!!

NYE 2008

This year for New Years Eve, Jaime and I traveled to San Angelo, TX to visit Meagan and Marcus who we went to college with. Meagan is also pregnant, about a month after me so she'll be due at the end of May. She is also expecting a girl! We went out for a nice dinner at Peasant Valley restaurant and then returned back to Meg and Marcus' for some nice chocolate fondue. Notice our preggers pics, man do I feel huge! And to think I still have to make it to April 22nd, yikes! Marcus and Jaime did not plan to be twins for the night, it was so funny when Marcus walked out of his room and we realized that Jaime was wearing the same thing! We had a great time and look forward to our little girls having plenty of play time in the future!

Baby Room Phase 1

Jaime is such a skilled carpenter/craftsman! He did such an amazing job installing the chair rail and painting the room! The night that he started installing the chair rail he stayed up until 3 am getting it all finished. I was in for quite the surprise when I woke up the next morning! Chair rail was complete and all of the walls were oh so pretty in pink! Now on to phase 2: furniture. Yipee!
