We had some fun crawling and rolling around in our playroom yesterday in these tunnels. Here are some pics:

Snow in Leander!?!!

It snowed today-ALL day!! I took Quinn out for a bit and she loved it. Here are some pics:

She loved her little mittens. Even enough to give me a nice punch in the mouth!

"Oh, Mommy! Why can't we go back outside???"

No, no, no...

Quinn's new favorite word (besides Momma ;) is "no". I have heard this word mostly when it is time for her to do something she doesn't want to do, especially take a nap. Today I laid her down in her crib and she just said "Oh, no, no, no, no, no." Here are a couple pictures of her saying her favorite new word. Maybe she doesn't want me to take pictures of her anymore? Hmmmm...

Weeee!

I didn't really get anything for Quinn for Valentine's day so today we were out and I picked up this cute little lion. Quinn is at the stage now where she can pull up and push things so I thought it would be good to get her something she can push. This little lion lets you ride him and also push him. She was so cute on it, I had to post a picture.
Is this thing really for me?

Yipeeee!

Kisses

Quinn is such a sweetheart. She loves giving kisses and hugs to Mommy, Daddy, her friends, and her little baby doll. Here are a couple pictures of her in the act.

Sand Pit!

A few weeks ago, Quinn and I went with a friend and her little boy to a park/walking trail here called Champion Park. It has a really cool walking path and at the end of the path is a huge sand pit and playground. The kids loved taking a nice walk in the strollers and loved playing in the sand. We've been a couple times since then because they have a ball when we go!

Here is Quinn and her little buddy. She really looks up to him because he can walk. But we're in NO hurry for that to be happening over here. :)

The Pad

Here are some pics of the new home. We still have quite a ways to go on the decorating and furnishing department, but we're in no hurry. Enjoy looking at all of the empty rooms. :)

More Cupcake, Please!!

We recently went to a farewell party for a mom and her little baby boy from our playgroup, we are so sad to see them leave! At the party, Quinn had her first cupcake ever. She kept signing for me to give her more and every time I did she would clap and squeal. Here are some pictures that our friend (the one moving) took of Quinn. The Big Move

I've been a little MIA from the blogging world lately but happy to say we've moved all of our stuff in to our new house! We still have tons of unpacking to do but the good news is that we have all the time in the world to get it done! We're loving our new home and new neighborhood so much so far! Here are some pics that were taken during the move: I'll post more of the house as soon as I get most of the boxes and clutter put away.

Here's the U-Haul that housed our entire lives overnight. This is parked in front of our new house the day we unloaded it. The weather was sooooo cold that day- the windchill was like 24 degrees! Yikes!
This was taken while unloading. As you can see, the bitter cold nights in Leander have killed some of the plants in front. Nothing ol' Mr. Pina can't fix!
Quinn (and I) were so happy to have Mama Rose here to play with her so that Mommy and Daddy could unpack!
Quinn loves our new house, almost as much as she love eating watermelon! She has been sleeping so good here. Last night I put her down at her normal bedtime (7 pm) and she didn't wake up until 8:30 am!! Wowzers! I think she sleeps so well here because the neighborhood is so quiet and she also has some really good plantation shutters on her window that block out all light. I'm not complaining.
Quinn's poker face. ;)

It has been a whirlwind of a week but we're just so happy to be in our new place. We feel so blessed in so many ways and just cannot wait to raise our family here. Now the hard part- who's gonna help me decorate it all???
