Wrapping up August

What a summer we have had! It has been so fun watching Quinn grow and develop, we just can't believe how much she has changed! Now that school has started up again and all of the kiddies are back to the books, we've had lots of fun going out during the day. We've gone to the pool several times and have been the only ones there, so fun! We've gone to the gym so Mommy can hit the weights and Quinn can play with other babies her age. I am just treasuring every single moment I have with Quinn and am so thankful that I am able to be here with her as she reaches all of her milestones. She is now rolling over, giggling up a storm, jumping up and down in her new jumpy seat, and pushing up on her tummy. Here is just a glimpse at Q in action now that she's four months.

Quinn surprised us this evening with the giggles! Up until now we've heard her chuckle but not laugh out loud like this. She had us rolling on the floor, so funny!

Our Little Squealer

A couple days ago, Quinn learned how to squeal and has been doing it since! She squeals while she's playing, getting her diaper changed, waking up from a nap, and basically any other time she is happy or thinks something is funny. She's such a riot!

Take Me Out to the Ballgame...

We attended our first Round Rock Express baseball game last night with baby! We are so lucky to have such great friends, Beau, Jennie, and Merritt, who invited us to hang out with them in their sky box for the game. I can't think of a better way to enjoy a baseball game! Quinn had a great time watching all of the people and just soaking in all of the action.

Our Little Swimmer!

Ok, so not quite swimming yet, sitting in the sprinklers counts though right? I joined a playgroup called T.O.T.S. (toddlers of teachers) and went to one of the member's today for a little backyard water park fun! The water park consisted of an inflatable mat with small spouts of water shooting out. It was perfect for Quinn's first taste of water fun! I sat her in her little bumbo seat and put that on the mat. At first she was not too sure about the water hitting her, but after awhile I think she forgot all about that and was more interested in watching the other kiddos! It was a great time and we look forward to many more outings with our T.O.T.S. friends!
